ALL ABOUT BIRDS
Grade 1D

 

In conjunction with our study of Spring and Animals, the children have been involved in reading, writing and researching about BIRDS!!  We began our learning by looking at and defining the characteristics that make a bird a bird.  The children then recorded their learning on class posters and personal pages.

"ALL ABOUT BIRDS" CLASSROOM DISPLAY!

We created a display with all of the general bird facts that we had collected during our research.  The children were very excited about being able to record their learning and share it with classroom visitors.

We brainstormed the bird facts as a class and then the children chose a fact that they wished to write about.

 

The children recorded their facts on nest shapes.
